This 4 day travel package offers the ideal itinerary for those seeking tranquility and purity in a region that is still relatively undiscovered.

  • Day 2: ASSISI, PERUGIA

After breakfast, we will start discovering the Umbria region and its beauty. Enjoy a morning guided tour of Assisi, exploring the city of Saint Francis and visiting the famous Basilica of Saint Francis with its stunning architecture and breathtaking frescoes. Lunch on your own at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we suggest a visit to Perugia, capital of Umbria, where you can stroll along Corso Vannucci, admiring elegant medieval palaces, the beautiful Fontana Maggiore, a Medieval fountain, and the intriguing Rocca Paolina, a Renaissance fortress that is partially underground. Take a break at one of the numerous cafès or bakeries for a pastry or to sample the famous "Perugina" chocolate. Afterwards, return to the hotel where you will spend the night.

  • Day 3: MONTEFALCO, OLIVE OIL MILL, SPOLETO

After breakfast, depart for the small, quaint hamlet of Montefalco. Here you will visit a local olive oil mill and learn about the production process. Afterwards, enjoy a light lunch of local specialties paired with the mill's oil. In the afternoon, we recommend visiting Spoleto, a splendid city of art and seat of the famous "Festival of Two Worlds". Be sure to stop just outside of Spoleto to admire the Ponte delle Torri, a medieval bridge that crosses a gorge and is surrounded by greenery. In the outskirts of Spoleto, visit important cashmere outlets with time for shopping. Later, return to hotel and enjoy a farewell dinner featuring local cuisine. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 4: TORGIANO, DERUTA

Breakfast at the hotel followed by check out. If you have the morning free, we recommend visiting the Wine Museum in Torgiano or the unique Ceramic Museum in Deruta, which is one of Italy's centers for maiolica ceramics. Strolling through Deruta, you can admire small laboratories of this antique craft, for which this city is famous. Conclusion of your stay in Umbria.
